3, Renovation and New Construction :
Planning included the following functional units: emergency, radiology,
laboratories, polyclinic, dental clinic, administration and management.
Due to additional movement of U.S. troops, the existing clinic had exceeded its
capacity and the addition of a new dental clinic became necessary.
Plan Team made the suggestion that construction of the dental clinic first be
completed and then utilized temporarily as a health clinic, while renovation on
the existing clinic be completed. Since it was necessary that the clinic remain in
operation, this concept reduced the burden on the user during the renovation phase and
drastically reduced the duration of renovation.
