Harbor warehouse to glass loft:
Mannheim is one of the largest European river ports.
Along the walls of the waterfront, lies a long line
of previously utilized concrete warehouses. Instead
of demolishing the historic building, Plan Team chose
to revitalize the Genius Loci, maintain the structure
and cover the warehouse with a glass sheath.
New core zones and multi-floor atriums transform
the modern, flexible cube into a unique office experience.
