Passenger Terminal I Ramstein
The passenger terminal I construction measures included renovation of the existing
passenger terminal in preparation for extension and enlargement in order that the
airport become the primary central European passenger airport for the U.S. Air Forces in Europe. These measures included extension and renovation of the luggage handling area,
renovation of the existing gates in order to expand the passenger processing
area, as well as the required expansion measures to passenger terminal II.
